Cologne/Baesweiler – A 1,200-euro aluminum suitcase from the luxury brand “Rimowa” – what happened to that?
“I was completely shocked when my suitcase came through the baggage carousel at Cologne Airport on Sunday morning,” says Nicola Bach (41) from Baesweiler near Aachen. She just got back from her vacation in Antalya, Turkey.
But the relaxation was over quickly: Because the actually indestructible piece of luggage looks as if the plane had rolled over it.
“I’m curious to see whether the airport company will reimburse us for the damage,” said the teacher. On Tuesday, Nicole Bach will continue to Mallorca. This time only with hand luggage.
