Thiruvananthapuram: Musician Peter Leslie (81) passed away. Peter Leslie is a teacher who has taught thousands of students violin, guitar and organ. Keyboardist Seefan Devassi and Grammy Award winner Manoj George are among his famous students. He has received the Kerala Music Drama Award.
Peter Leslie was in the cast of Desaposhini dramas where he played Balan K Nair, Khitrivattam Pappu and Kunhandi. Participated in music festivals in foreign countries with singer Unni Menon.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly, and his children are Lani and Lena Linsey.
