The preliminary phases of the basketball events for the Paris Olympics in 2024 will be played in Lille, shooting will go to Châteauroux and boxing to the Villepinte site, the organizers announced on Tuesday, thus fixing the map of the Olympic sites. The International Basketball Federation (FIBA), as well as some players from the France team, Olympic vice-champion in Tokyo, were not in favor of the Lille option. This new venue map still needs to be validated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
