(ANSA) – ROME, 02 OCT – From the secrets of Alinghi to those of the Boat Show. All in the second episode of “L’Uomo e il Mare”, broadcast on RaiSport + HD (channel 57 of digital terrestrial), conducted and edited, as usual, by Giulio Guazzini: the column starts from the Genoa Show which at its 61st edition has reconfirmed itself as the capital of international boating. In the foreground the exclusive interview with the Commander General of the Coast Guard Admiral Nicola Carlone who takes stock, among other things, on the situation of the Italian seas and yachting. This is followed by the precious testimony of the President of the Italian Naval League Admiral Donato Marzano who launches the World Hansa 303 on stage in the coming days in Palermo. But the show was also an opportunity to meet the great personalities of international sailing such as the solitary Italian navigator Giancarlo Pedote back from the Vendee Globe. Among the curiosities of the nautical review the interview with the editor of the Nutrimenti publishing house Andrea Palombi. Finally, in addition to the images of the traditional Mille Vele regatta, organized by the Italian Yacht Club, the spotlight is on the interview-scoop with the patron of Alinghi Ernesto Bertarelli whom we met in the waters of Scarlino, in Tuscany, on the occasion of the last test of the season of the TF 35 circuit, flying catamarans equipped with Foil. Bertarelli, capable of winning the America’s Cup twice, confirmed his interest in the Cup and in particular in the AC 75. (ANSA).
