The Valley Hospital said this morning (Wednesday) that the condition of the 5-year-old boy who drowned yesterday in the Springs Valley continues to be human. He is resuscitated and anesthetized in the pediatric intensive care unit, and the staff fights for his life.

Yesterday at 19:42, a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Gilboa area about a drowning in the Kibbutzim River near the tracks.

MDA paramedics Orit Ohana and Dennis Polkov said: “The boy was lying on the river bank unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing and performed basic resuscitation operations on him. “We continued with advanced medical treatment, the whole soul, massages and medication, and we evacuated him to the hospital while continuing the resuscitation operations when his condition was critical.”
