Ramarajan made his debut as an actor with Vishal and Arya’s ‘Avan Ivan’ directed by Bala. In this film, he impressed the audience by playing a realistic police officer who swears that no one should steal. Subsequently, he acted in character roles in several films including Thakadu, Savarikkadu. It is noted that he worked as a manager in a bank and came to act in cinema after retirement. Ramarajan fell ill a few days ago. For this he was admitted and treated at a private hospital in Madurai. In this condition Ramarajan died without treatment. He was 72. Ramarajan’s body was cremated in his hometown Mudukulathur. Late Ramarajan is survived by his wife and three sons. The film industry has mourned his death.
