Dubai Police promote new interest-free instalment scheme

by time news

Dubai Police has introduced a new system for phased payment of traffic fines. It is possible to pay the penalty for three months, six months and one year without interest. Payment must be made by credit card. Credit cards of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai etc. should be used for this purpose.

If it is not possible to pay in installments, an application can be made for extension of time. A fee of AED 100 will be charged for this. If the company and institutions default on the installments, an additional penalty of 200 dirhams will have to be paid. The fine should be paid through the Dubai Police website. Or you can also use the police app. Vehicle number, or traffic file number and license number should be provided. After this you have to select the option ‘Direct Discount Service’. Passport number and Emirate ID should be clearly added in this.
