New Delhi ∙ The World Health Organization is against colchicine and fluvoxamine drugs that are believed to be effective in people seriously affected by Covid. The World Health Organization states that there is no evidence for the effectiveness of Colchis. The use of fluvoxamine is also prohibited except in clinical trials.

Colchicine is a drug used to treat gout. Fluvoxamine is commonly used in the treatment of depression.
