July 14: Emmanuel Macron would have flown over Paris with the Patrouille de France

by time news

It is a cleverly orchestrated communication stunt, in the greatest secrecy, signed once again… Emmanuel Macron. The President of the Republic implied on Twitter, late Wednesday evening, to have flown over Paris a few days earlier with the Patrouille de France. “I can testify to it: our soldiers are ready for tomorrow,” he wrote, on the eve of the July 14 parade, accompanying his few words with a video. And the President of the Republic added: “Our soldiers are ready for tomorrow and we will be there to tell them how proud we are. »

In a series of photos published on the Instagram account of Soazig de La Moissonnière, the official photographer of the Presidency of the Republic, we discover behind the scenes of Emmanuel Macron’s visit to the Patrouille de France, at the military airport and presidential election in Vélizy-Villacoublay last Friday, July 8.

In these photos of Soazig de La Moissonnière, we see Emmanuel Macron dressed in the Patrouille de France outfit with a unique crest on his jumpsuit: “President of the Republic – Emmanuel Macron – Patrouille de France”. Helmet on his head, we also discover him on board an Alpha jet, thumbs up. These photos are reminiscent of previous “staged”, such as during his visit to a submarine, a few weeks after his election, during which he was photographed during a helicopter winch.

Did Emmanuel Macron really fly with the Patrouille de France? Everything suggests it, even if the Élysée had not yet officially communicated on the subject on Wednesday evening. If one of the photos posted by Soazig de La Moissonnière shows eight Alpha jets from the Patrouille de France in formation in the sky, it is not known whether Emmanuel Macron is actually inside.

The Patrouille de France will open the parade

The Air and Space Force confirmed, also on its Twitter account, having had a visit from Emmanuel Macron, without specifying whether he had actually flown. “What an honor to have received the support of the President of the Republic shortly before the national holiday”, she wrote, accompanying her post with a photo of Emmanuel Macron surrounded by the crews of the Patrouille de France.

The Patrouille de France will open, as every year, the parade of July 14 in Paris, this Thursday. She will not be satisfied with the capital, since she is also expected elsewhere, above Marseille in particular. Emmanuel Macron will attend the ceremony before answering questions from journalists in an interview broadcast live on TF 1 and France 2. An exercise that may be less exciting, but just as perilous.
