Accumulating jobs in Canada..! Shortage of manpower in various sectors

by time news

A study has found that there is a shortage of workers in various sectors in Canada.

A recent survey by a Canadian organization asked 80 percent of Canadian businesses how they use Canadian immigration to recruit qualified employees.

Companies surveyed by the Business Council of Canada (BCC) employ 1.6 million workers.

In the survey, two-thirds of companies reported that they use the immigration system to recruit people from different countries, and one-third said that they recruit people who have already immigrated to Canada.

A majority, or 50 percent, of employers think Canada should increase the number of permanent resident applicants annually.

The rest of the Canadian population has expressed support for the government’s three-year immigration plan.

Canada’s 2022 – 2024 Immigration Plan plans to grant 450,000 permanent residents annually. It plans to grant permanent citizenship to 450,000 people.

Employers are facing problems in filling technical vacancies in their companies.

In particular, computer science, engineering, and information technology sectors are often understaffed.

Also, there is a shortage of plumbers, electricians and construction workers.
