The protestors have said that Gotabaya Rajapakse is deceiving the people of Sri Lanka by not resigning from the post of President of Sri Lanka. It was reported that Gotabaya Rajapaksa who went to Maldives will go to Singapore from there. It is also said that he will resign from the post after going to Singapore.
Gotabaya, who is currently staying in the Maldives, was said to be going to Singapore last night. However, the Daily Mirror has confirmed that he did not travel on the Singapore Airlines flight. It has been reported that arrangements are being made for Gotabaya Rajapakse to go to Singapore by private plane.
