Clarasola opening film, delegate passes from tomorrow
International Women Film Festival
Kozhikode: Under the auspices of the State Film Academy, 24 films by women directors will be screened at the 3rd International Women’s Film Festival to be held on 16th, 17th and 18th at Kairali and Sri Theatres, Kozhikode. The inaugural film was ‘Clarazzola’ which won the Golden Award for Best Film and the Silver Award for Best Debut Director at the 26th IFFK. There will be two screenings of the film in the fair. The show will be held after the opening ceremony at Kairali Theater on 16th at 6 pm.
The festival also features the Argentinian film ‘Camila Comes Out Tonight’, which won Ines Maria Barrionueva the Silver Award for Best Director at the 26th IFFK.
The screening is in the categories of World Cinema, Indian Cinema, Malayalam Cinema, Documentary and Short Fiction. There will be an open forum on the 17th and 18th at 5 pm.
Distribution of delegate pass will start on 15th. Off-line delegate registration can be done through the help desk set up at the reception office at Kairali Theatre. Delegate can also be done online through the website https://regitsration.iffk.in/.
The fee is Rs 300 for adults and Rs 200 for students.
