To establish peace in Sri Lanka, we need to hold talks with all Muslim leaders and Tamil leaders. I hope democracy will be restored soon. I did not think that Sri Lanka would go to such an economic state. Famous cricketer Janath Jayasuriya has said that Gotabaya Rajapaksa is the reason for this.

It is sad to see my beloved motherland in dire economic straits and riots breaking out. But Sanath Jayasuriya, a famous international cricketer, said in an interview to PTI news agency that he hopes that peace will prevail in the country soon.
At no point during the interview did he hesitate to talk about Sri Lankan politicians.
