Laiba Abdul Basit, a Malayali child writer, holds a world record. Laiba holds a place in the Guinness Book of Records for writing a novel at the youngest age. Laiba was ten years and 164 days old when he wrote the novel Order of the Galaxy, The Snowflake of Life. Laiba broke the record for a novel written by a Saudi Arabian student at the age of 12.
The plot of Laiba’s novel series is the children’s journey through the wonders of the sky. Olivia, Olives, Mike and Avery are the main characters in the novel born from Laiba’s imagination. K. The introduction was written by Jayakumar. Laiba wrote a series of three novels called Order of the Galaxy at the age of eleven. Laiba is working on her fourth novel at her family home in Mahi.
