This issue has created a new storm in the Edappadi camp. When I inquired about this inside the Edappadi camp, “Ponnaiyan is very senior. He himself is talking like this on the phone without knowing the details. We know it’s Ponnaiyan speaking in the audio. But we are not in a position to take any action against him.
If action is taken against him, there is a possibility that he will leave our side and go to OPS. Edappadi asked Ponnaiyan about the audio. He said, ‘I don’t know what happened’. Similarly, Munusamy, Velumani, Thangamani, Thalavai Sundaram and many others are in awe of Ponnaiyan.

During the single leadership issue, the OPS side kept saying that the Edappadi side had bribed the district secretaries. Now Ponnaiyan Audio seems to confirm it and it is remarkable. It remains to be seen how Edappadi Palaniswami, who has taken over as the Interim General Secretary, is going to handle these issues!
