Washington: America has warned China that there will be a strong response if it attacks the Philippines. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken came out with such a warning.
“China should be ready to give up its claim over the South China Sea. In any case, it would be preferable to continue the administration in the areas approved in 2016. Perhaps, if China intends to conquer the Philippines, the US will certainly face it militarily.’- Blinken clarified.

This was officially announced in a speech in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The declaration also said that if any of the Philippines’ armed forces, cruise ships and aircraft were attacked in the China Sea, the US would be forced to respond according to the pressure exerted by the defense agreements.
