London: Senegal centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly at Chelsea. Koulibaly joins Chelsea from Italian team Napoli. Chelsea bought Koulibaly for 40 million euros. 10 million euros as wages. Napoli are selling the star until his current contract expires in June 2023. The 31-year-old player has previously stated that he is not interested in playing for another Serie A club other than Napoli. That also benefited Chelsea. The actor has been playing in Napoli since 2014.
Özil Istanbul Basaksehir
Turkish club Fenerbahce has canceled the contract of German player Mesut Ozil. The contract was terminated with two years remaining. Soon after, he signed with Istanbul Basaksehir. Ozil joined Fenerbahce last year from Arsenal. He scored nine goals in 37 games for the club.
Sterling at Chelsea
English star Raheem Sterling has signed a contract with Chelsea. Twenty-seven-year-old Sterling has joined Chelsea on a five-year deal for a transfer fee of £50 million. Sterling, who has won four Premier League titles with Manchester City, has scored 131 goals in 339 games.
