The Minister of Energy, Karin Elharar, met today (Thursday) for an update meeting with the American mediator regarding the negotiations on the maritime border with Lebanon, Amos Hochstein.
The meeting did not present a Lebanese approach to controversial issues, although Israel came to the negotiating table out of a desire to resolve the long-standing maritime border issue with Lebanon.
It seems that despite the acute energy crisis in the country, the Lebanese leadership has not yet decided whether to conduct serious negotiations that will resolve the issue and benefit its citizens. All this against the background of the threats made yesterday by the leader of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.
