José Dionicio Quesnay, lawyer for Yenifer Paredes, stated this Wednesday that his client will testify before the Public ministry in the framework of the investigation that is being followed for alleged influence peddling.
“Whoever speaks has promised to give the greatest diligence and the best of our efforts so that we can collaborate with the investigations. Of course, that is what the defense is guiding him,” he told RPP News when asked if the statement of his client is guaranteed in all the corresponding instances.
On the other hand, he pointed out that Yenifer Paredes did not attend the prosecution because your client was not duly notified, but once it is formalized everything will go smoothly to testify.
Quesnay avoided commenting on whether or not his client offered works on behalf of the government, as he denounced a Sunday program. He also ruled out the possibility of fleeing the country.
“He is in the country for the care of the case. Today, in the context in which these events are taking place, it is very sensitive. For everyone’s peace of mind my client is in the country. Yenifer Paredes asked to reschedule her summons to the Audit Commission
