Two weeks of hot and dry winds in Qatar

Doha: Hot and dry winds will blow in Qatar for the next two weeks. The warning belongs to Qatar Calendar House. The wind, locally known as ‘Simoom’, started yesterday.

It is one of the most famous monsoon winds in the Arabian region. Visibility is reduced as the winds of the monsoon season raise heavy clouds of dust in the atmosphere. Simum will continue till 29th of this month. The wind is also known as poison wind because it causes severe health problems for plants and humans and can cause sudden sunburn.

It also causes sunburn. Heat can also cause plants to die.

Today and tomorrow, the maximum temperature in the country is 40 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is 32 degrees Celsius. Wind gusts to 18 nautical miles at times today.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy winds and thundershowers in various parts of the country on Saturday. Visibility reaches 4-8 km and in some places less than 3 km.
