It has been three years since Omar Adam took the stage at Hayarkon Park, and last night (Thursday) he did it again. But this time the audience present at the show did not spare criticism against the singer. Many of the show’s attendees complained on social media that the show was significantly shorter.
“You disappointed me Omar, my first appearance with you and admit that I was expecting a different level,” wrote one of the singer’s fans on his official Facebook page. “Unfortunately, it is not worth the 500 shekels, there is no doubt that this is the first and last time.” Another fan wrote: “Be ashamed, this is the time to boycott you.” Followed by a reporter: “Contempt for your audience that came from all over the country. 40 minutes of performance after all the talking, dancing and changing clothes.”
Following the reviews, the singer responded this morning on his Instagram account in a long post. “I read some of your comments and feel just like you, that we were not together long enough and I feel I owe you the truest explanation there is. This is the second time we meet at Yarkon Park that it is my huge dream come true and I wanted you to get both of us on the same card.” Adam added that the show organizers had to also comply with the rules of showtimes at the park.
Earlier, the public relations office of Hagit Novik Salomon and Yaron Cohen stated: “The show of Omar Adam and Nicki Jam in the Yarkon Park lasted like an hour and 45 minutes like all the park shows. Omar invited Nicki Jam to come to Israel especially for the show of the two, and was “It’s important for him to give Nicky time on a respectable stage and that’s how it was. Omar performed for an hour and ten minutes with his best hits and thanks the large crowd that came to the park tonight.”
