The report cited a number of incidents related to Iran’s campaign against the US, including the attempted abduction of Iranian-American journalist Asia Al-Jinjad last year.
Earlier this year, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed during a congressional hearing that Iran was “targeting revenge on senior U.S. officials.” .
