July 17: World Day for International Justice!

The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of the International Criminal Court in Rome on 17 July 1998.

World Day for International Justice is observed on July 17 every year.

The decision to establish this day on June 1 was made at a conference of member states of the International Criminal Court from May 31 to June 11, 2010 in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of the International Criminal Court in Rome on 17 July 1998. The day is observed as one of celebration, reflection and action.

The ideal theme of this year (2022) is “Achieving social justice through formal employment”.
