Limburg is a half-timbered pearl on the Lane

“House of Seven Sins”

On the left is anger, on the right is gluttony. Together with pride, love of money, envy, fornication and despondency, these symbolic images from 1567 adorn, if I may say so in this moralizing case, the facade of the “House of Seven Sins” (“Haus der Sieben Laster”) on the street Brückengasse leading from the Old Bridge to the center of Limburg. Previously, they looked at merchants and travelers, today they entertain tourists.
