A student died after a coconut tree fell in Kasargod Manjeswaram due to heavy winds. Shaun Arun Krasta, a class 7 student of Kayyar Don Bosco School, died. He was 12 years old. The boy was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru in a critical condition, but his life could not be saved. He is the son of Mangaluru-based journalist Stephen Crasta.
