Forgery: The relatives of a Plus 2 student who studied at a private school in Chinnachelam, who died mysteriously on the grounds that her post-mortem report was not acceptable, staged a road blockade in front of Kallakurichi Government Hospital today (Saturday).

Smt., a resident of Periyanesalur village, Cuddalore district, was studying Plus 2 in a private matriculation higher secondary school at Kaniyamoor near Chinnasalem, Kallakurichi district. In this situation, it is said that the student committed suicide by jumping from the 2nd floor of the hostel. The Chinnasalem police registered a case and seized the body of the student and sent it to Kallakurichi Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. They are continuing to investigate the incident.

Following this, the student’s parents, relatives and villagers staged a road blockade at Veypur four-way junction on Friday demanding immediate arrest of those responsible for the student’s death.

In this situation, the post-mortem report of the student was released today and it was mentioned that there were injuries on the body of the student before her death and there were blood stains on the clothes of the student. However, his relatives staged a road blockade in front of Kallakurichi Government Hospital claiming that it was a fake report. Following this, the police negotiated with the protestors and made them disperse.

Meanwhile, Labor Welfare and Skill Development Minister C.V.Ganesan, who visited the residence of the deceased student, consoled the parents of the student and said that the police will conduct a proper investigation and take appropriate action.
