Eight people killed in a plane crash over Greek skies

During the night between Saturday and Sunday, eight Ukrainian air crew members were killed after their plane crashed near the northern Greek city of Kwala. Seven firefighters and 15 crew members reportedly arrived at the crash site but were unable to get close to the plane which continued to burn due to the explosions. Eyewitnesses who spoke with the Athens news agency said they saw a “fireball” from which smoke comes out.
