EActress Sridevi’s demise left the Indian film world in tears. The actress passed away in 2018. Sridevi, who started her film career as a child star, soon became the Sri of Indian cinema. After marriage, she gave importance to her family but was not ready to give up films completely.
One of Sridevi’s biggest wishes was her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s film entry. Sridevi traveled without seeing her daughter’s first film. The starlet is still vocal about her mother’s biggest wish.
Sridevi was a devotee of Tirupati. Till her marriage, the actress used to visit Tirupati on every birthday. But that stopped with marriage. Janhvi Kapoor said this in an interview given as part of the promotion of her new film.
‘The scripts of all my films are taken to Tirupati. Until her marriage, her mother used to visit the temple regularly on her birthday. But after the wedding, that custom stopped. But after my mother’s demise, I visit the Tirupati temple on every birthday. Janhvi Kapoor said that it was because of her inner feeling.
