After eight years of marriage: The dubbing of The Simpsons is getting married
Actress Yardley Smith, who dubbed the character of Lisa in the beloved and mythological series, married a heartthrob, a veteran detective she met during a fan event that he voluntarily secured.
One of the main characters in the beloved “The Simpsons” series is undoubtedly Lisa, an eight-year-old wild girl, dubbed a veteran actress, for over three decades. Although 58-year-old Yardley Smith is behind the scenes, she is especially popular with fans of the series, and recently, she finally married her partner of the last eight years, Dan Grice.
As mentioned, the two met in a romantic and unconventional way, when Grice came to secure a Smith fan event, somewhere in 2014, so the two immediately fell in love, and the rest as they say, history. At the time, the actress shared that Dan did not want to come to secure the event, but something still attracted him to do so. “As if someone from above said – it will work between you,” she said.
At the time, Dan was working as a detective for the local police, so they were looking for a volunteer to come to the event and secure Smith. ‘It was clear to me that I would take it upon myself, and let the other friends spend time with family and children. “It was a time when I was single, so I went for it,” Griss said.
The veteran detective also said that he first saw Smith when he picked her up from the airport, so she got in his car and sat down next to him. Pretty soon, the veteran actress invited him to visit her in Los Angeles, which initially led to a remote-controlled relationship, until the two moved in together.
This is Smith’s third marriage, when she revealed a few years ago that she no longer believed she could find a new love. “I was divorced for six years, I did not think I would know anyone new,” she said. The two became engaged in 2018, and according to reports the wedding in question was held at their home, alongside a limited presence of friends and family.
