Tiny skimmer, battle simulator and tracking chips: startups that will fight terrorism

As part of the Demo Day, five start-ups selected to cooperate with the GSS were unveiled, with their technologies being able to be used for both civilian and security purposes such as the war on terror. “And now the organization can find itself among the customers – alongside other security and civilian bodies from the country and the world.

The companies presented at the event:
• MindsView – technology that allows a surgeon to perform the surgery with augmented reality glasses (AR), and receive guidance or remote instruction from a specialist doctor.
• Qpower – a company that develops tiny chips that make it possible to turn objects of everyday use, such as sports equipment or food packages, into “smart” – as well as means of surveillance.
• Quadpole – cable skimmers tied to their base, which can stay in the air for long hours, and if necessary disconnect from the cable for information gathering tasks.
• Flyz Robotics – a company that developed a tiny skimmer weighing 250 grams, which can land on vertical walls and attach accessories such as sensors, microphones and cameras.
• Combatica – a simulator of combat training, which using virtual reality (VR) knows how to simulate real emergencies such as terrorist incidents and multi-casualty emergencies.
