ARM computing solutions from the new TCS22 series and Cadence tools make the process easier until the tapeout stage

Cadence Design Systems (Cadence) is expanding its collaboration with Arm to improve the performance of silicon components for the mobile field, through the use of Cadence’s digitization and verification tools and Arm’s new computing tool package – Total Compute Solutions 2022 (TCS22). The Arm computer suite includes the Arm Cortex-A715 and Cortex-X3 CPUs, and the Arm Mali-G715 and Immortalis-G715 GPUs.

Through the collaboration, Cadence provides a comprehensive kit for achieving an ongoing digital process of
RTL-to-GDS for nodes of five and seven nanometers. This, in order to enable customers to meet optimal PPA (power, performance and area) goals, and improve the level of productivity.

In addition, Cadence provides reliable mobile platforms for the Cortex-A715 and Cortex-X3 CPUs and the Mali-G715 and Immortalis-G715 GPUs, to help customers initiate flows and verification.

Paul Williamson, Vice President and CEO Client Line of Business B-Arm: With the help of the new TCS22 computing tool package, we enable our customers to produce secure, high-performance, high-efficiency products that provide an optimal user experience in a variety of mobile applications. Thanks to our continued cooperation with Cadence, the joint customers of the two companies can benefit from our innovative tools together with the digital and verification processes of Cadence, and shorten the time to market SoC systems ”.

Dr. Qin-Chi Teng, Senior Vice President and Group Manager Digital & Signoff In Cadence: “The collaboration with Arm emphasizes our commitment to enable developers to design the mobile products with the best user experience in the world. Arm has used Cadence’s latest innovations in verification and digital to develop the new Arm TCS22 computing tool suite. Together, we enable our customers to leverage these innovations for optimal PPA performance and a shortcut to tapeout. ”

Cadence’s digital platform enables customers to meet PPA goals and its verification processes enable developers to achieve better productivity. In addition, they support Cadence’s Intelligent System Design strategy, which enables developers to achieve excellence in SoC development.
