Your life is photographed from above – skimmers in the service of the enforcement department in the Ariel municipality

by time news

In the last two weeks if you heard a strange buzz while walking with your dog, all you had to do was look up and see our skimmers.

The enforcement department of the Ariel Municipality, has hired the services of the companies (Cando Drones and High Lander, which operate a fleet of autonomous skimmers with high-resolution photography capability, in order to conduct an advanced digital pilot, aimed at keeping our Ariel clean of dog droppings, pruning and off-site building debris. And at designated times.

In the enforcement operation that has taken place over the last two weeks, dozens of dog owners have been observed walking their dogs, and we are proud to say that the vast majority of dog owners discover exemplary citizenship and take care of the collection of dog droppings. The few who tried to evade and leave the “fragrant gift” to the public were given a report from the inspector with documentation of the act and for some the surprise awaits in the mail.

The director of the Enforcement and Licensing Division, Baruch Engel, stated that “the Ariel Municipality has aligned itself with many dozens of municipalities that have introduced the most advanced technology of skimmers into the world of law enforcement and supervision. The system allowed the teams to utilize the abilities of the glider for the benefit of the mission as well as to manage the various missions optimally. “I felt very proud,” says Engel, “to find that most residents who keep dogs, consider the law, consider their neighbors and collect the dung after their dogs from public space, those who chose to try to evade responsibility – will meet it in the form of a fine and pity,” he added. And High Lander for the excellent service they have given to the municipality and he looks forward to further cooperation for the benefit of the city and its residents.

The companies Cando Drones and High Lander reported that in the latest enforcement operation carried out by the municipality, an fleet of autonomous skimmers was involved in enforcement, policing and security processes in the Ariel municipality, in order to improve the well-being of the residents. For proper and efficient extraction of the airspace, preparations were made in the ground and airspace by the Cando company and the municipal crews, and skimmers and flight crews were provided to accompany the activity. The companies emphasized that thanks to High Lander’s Advanced Mission Control PRO system, Ariel Municipality’s enforcement and security teams received a real-time video of what was happening in the area, in addition to a full operational image, which was sent to the control center and field crews. This type of pilot allows the Ariel Municipality to experience and be impressed by the existing potential in managing a skimmer fleet that works in the service of the municipality and for the safety of its residents, so that further learning and experience can be built independently in any future scenario.

In the coming months, additional targeted enforcement operations are planned, in order to minimize environmental hazards and increase the level of security of the city’s residents. We ask the residents to consider their neighbors and friends and of course to respect the law and avoid inconveniences and unnecessary financial expenses – because the public space is ours for the benefit of us all.
