The state-level men’s beach volleyball tournament started on behalf of a private school on the Tirumulaivasal beach next to Sirkazhi in Mayiladuthurai district and was held day and night under electronic lights.
School principal Radhakrishnan presided over the competition. Thirumullaivasal Panchayat Council Chairman Parimala and Deputy Chairman Kalaivani presided. School Principal Joshua Prabhakara Singh welcomed the competition and Gutsamaritan School Director Praveen inaugurated the competition.
More than 30 teams from various districts of Tamil Nadu participated in the competition. In the final match, the Nagapattinam district’s Chetatcherry team and Sirkazhi team clashed. Sirkazhi team won the competition and got the first prize.
School Chancellor Radhakrishnan and School Director Praveen presented the trophy and certificate to the winning team.
