In the last episode of “Wedding at First Sight” we discovered that Rafael Yonatan Amar andIdit Eliyahu Decided to give a chance to a relationship that started a bit in shuffle in the first few episodes of reality, as the two had a hard time opening up and taking the relationship one step further towards romance. We also found out that seven months after the end of filming, Idit and Rafael are still together, but are in no hurry to talk about a wedding.
In an interview with TMI, Rafael and Idit said that they did not think they would last together when they first met. When asked if there was love at first sight, Edith stated: “No. I knew it would take me time and I knew I needed the patience. If it was in real life we probably would not have continued. We both had to lower the defenses and barriers.”
When asked what happened after the cameras went off, Edith said: “It made us much better. At first there was concern about what would happen when this thing stopped. In front of the cameras we were more collected and serious and after they went off we were.” When Rafael was asked how difficult it was to hide, he replied: “It was not difficult to hide, we are bunkers by nature.”
When asked about a wedding Rafael said with a laugh: “We go to some weddings in the summer and enjoy being there.” Edith added: “We do not know if there will be another wedding. I used to be sure that this is what I want but today we have been through so much and we have already done it. You never know.” When asked about the harsh reactions they received they said they were a boring couple and Raphael added: “Whoever is bored had to go through a channel. We have a lot of depth and amazing things and not just we are a beloved couple out there. We brought a normal, sane character.”
