The amendment to the law, which is expected to take effect within a month, may change the definitions of who is drunk while driving under the influence of marijuana, since according to the definition of dangerous drugs, which are considered with their effect on drivers as drunk driving, include heroin, opium, ecstasy and marijuana.

Even someone who consumed marijuana and went out to drive after a long time and was caught with remnants of marijuana in his body was considered drunk. An amendment to the law seeks to change the situation so that anyone caught with remnants of marijuana in his body but not under the influence – will no longer be considered a “drunk”.
