Singer Dani died at the age of 77, announced her manager, Lambert Boudier, Tuesday July 19, at Agence France Presse.
The artist, who was also an actress, model and magazine leader, died of “consequences of illness” in the region of Tours, where she lived, said Mr. Boudier. She had just finished touring her latest album, golden horizonsand she was finishing the preparation of a new album.
Dani met with immense success in 2001 with the interpretation of like a boomerangby Serge Gainsbourg, in duet with Etienne Daho.
