SaaS company ZOHO is looking to hire 2,000 employees across engineering, technology and product development.
A software-as-a-service (SaaS) company aims to hire employees in India and around the world at a time when many startups and companies are laying off employees en masse. Chennai-based Zoho Corp plans to hire at least 2,000 employees in engineering, technology and product development.
With nearly 10,000 employees worldwide, Zoho has a presence across India and the US and has recently entered markets such as Egypt, Jeddah and Cape Town.
Zoho is hiring Software Developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, Web Developers, Designers, Product Marketers, Writers, Technical Support Engineers and Sales Executives.
Now, Zoho also aims to tap talent in rural India.”Most of the talent in urban areas comes from villages and small towns.
Where the talent is, companies need to take opportunities and invest in talent development,” said Prashant Gandhi, Head, Tax, Accounting & Payroll, Zoho Products. Zoho also plans to launch skills development programs like Schools of Learning.
