Police have issued guidelines for e-scooter riders in areas including Hatta. Head light and tail light are mandatory while riding an e-scooter. The horn should be suitable for the vehicle. Braking system should be ensured on front and rear tires. The police suggested that vehicles that meet the technical standards suitable for the weather in the UAE should be used and that quality tires should be used.
