Doha: The date has been set to roll the ball in the playground of Lusail, which awaits the winners of the Qatar World Cup football title. The first leg will be kicked off on August 11 at the Lusail Stadium, which is ready for the match after all the construction work has been completed. The dream venue of the World Cup is witnessing the match between Al Arabi and Al Rayyan in the Qatar Stars League.
The changed match fixture of the Stars League was announced the other day. The match is on Thursday, August 11 at 7.40 pm.
Seven of the eight venues have already witnessed the matches in preparation for the World Cup. The Khalifa International Stadium, Educational City Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Al Janoob Stadium and Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, which are ready for the World Cup, are also hosting Stars League matches.
The Stars League, the top division league championship in Qatar, kicks off on August 1. The match between Al Markhia and the current champions Al Sadd FC will be held at the Khalifa Stadium.
Stadium 974 and Al Bait Stadium, other venues of the World Cup, have already hosted matches. Apart from the Khalifa Stadium, the FIFA Arab Cup held last December was the venue for football.
