European champion a month ago in fencing, Yannick Borel was eliminated in the second round of the World Fencing Championships on Tuesday in Cairo. After easily passing the first round, the world number 2 lost to the Japanese Kazuyasu Minobe 15 touches to 13. The 2018 world champion had just won his fourth European individual title last month in Antalya in Turkey.
