A private school at Kaniyamur, Chinnasalem, Kallakurichi district was recently ransacked by protesters. An examination center was set up in that school for the Group-4 examination to be held on the 24th (Sunday). As there is no environment to set up an examination center in that school at present, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Selection Commission (TNPSC) has changed the examination center that was set up there.

Candidates who have been allotted to write the examination for Sakthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School located in Kallakurichi due to administrative reasons, Kallakurichi Neelamangalam A.K.T. Academy Matric High School and A.K.D. They have been re-allotted to the examination centers set up at Memorial Vidya Saket School. The alternate hall ticket for the above candidates has been uploaded on the websites www.tnpsc.gov.in, www.tnpscexams.in.
