The Nubia brand company has announced the Z40S Pro, an upgraded edition of the Z40 Pro that hit stores earlier this year. The new phone offers a processor upgrade to Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 with 8, 12 and even 18 GB of working memory, and up to 1 terabyte for file storage.
The processor is cooled using a larger evaporation chamber than the previous model, as well as components made of synthetic diamonds, which help the manufacturer claim to further reduce the working temperature.
The battery comes in two editions depending on the model purchased, the first is the same as the Z40 with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and charging with a power of up to 80 watts, but the more expensive edition comes with a battery with a capacity of 4,600 mAh and charging with a power of up to 120 Wat. At this rate, a full charge of the battery takes about 19 minutes.
The rest of the specs remain essentially unchanged, with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate, a main camera with a 64-megapixel resolution sensor, a super-wide camera with a 50-megapixel sensor) and a periscope lens Magnifies up to five times with an 8-megapixel sensor. To the shades of green and black was added a ‘special edition’ in a design based on a Chinese anime series called Spirit Cage.
The price list is a bit complicated. The special edition model will cost about $ 695 and will come with 12/256 gigabytes of memory. The models that support charging at 120 watts will cost about $ 635 for the 12/256 GB version and about $ 990 for the 18 / 1,024 GB version.
