According to the eviction order sent to the building’s occupants, an engineer inspection conducted that day revealed that the building’s skeleton condition was very dilapidated and that cracks had been found in the foundation pillars on the first floor. The order reads: “There is a real and immediate danger of the building collapsing.”

The mayor of Ramat Gan, Carmel Shama HaCohen, told the tenants that due to a serious failure in two pillars of the building, and after being presented with the complete opinions of two engineers, including the city engineer, there was no choice but to evacuate all the tenants immediately. By the way, the building is already in the process of TMA 38 and has also been approved by the local committee.
