None Phone 1 has recently received its first update in many countries, including India. The first smartphone from the company appeared only a week ago on July 12, while it has not yet started to be sold in India. The Android 12 smartphone with the Nothing OS cover on top is now rolling out its second update, not even a day after the first one. Our review unit also received the latest update. The latest Software Update 1.1.0 brings several new features, including the Tesla Experimental Control feature.
Nothing Phone 1 has started receiving its second update in several countries, including India. The latest development comes just hours after the smartphone received its first software update on Wednesday. The second software update for the smartphone comes with version 1.1.0 and its size is 111 MB. Notably, the update carries an updated Android security patch for July 2022.
The update received on the Nothing Phone 1 smartphone by our review unit marks the change that is getting new features, including Tesla Control, an experimental NFT Gallery widget and an optional search bar on the home screen.
The latest software update also brings camera improvements to the Nothing Phone 1 smartphone. It includes the availability of a Glyph fill light in the portrait position of the camera. It also offers improved quality, dynamic range, and lower noise while shooting photos in low-light environment. Furthermore, improvements in image clarity and color consistency across the main and ultra-wide camera sensors of the Nothing Phone 1 smartphone are also included in the change.
Next comes fixing bugs and performance improvements with the latest Nothing Phone 1 update. The lock screen bug, which was reported to hide the smartphone fingerprint icon, is not fixed. Also, Nothing Phone 1’s battery life has been improved, especially when the phone stays on standby.
The reliability of the smartphone’s Glyph interface along with the face unlock performance has also been improved with this update. There are other minor bug fixes not mentioned in the changelog.
As a reminder, Nothing Phone 1 was launched in India on July 12th. Nothing Phone 1 will be available in black and white options on Flipkart from July 21st at 7:00 PM IST.
