Avin officers… take action! Corrupt Corporation letter

Coimbatore: A letter of complaint has been written to the general manager of Aavin from the corporation that apart from Aavin products, snacks like cold rings, fritters and vadas are being sold at Aavin’s stalls in Coimbatore.

‘No goods shall be sold in Aa’s palakas except Aa’s goods; A few days ago, Tamil Nadu Dairy Minister Nasser announced that the license will be canceled if it is sold in such a way.

When asked about the sale of polykarams in Aavin’s palaks in Coimbatore, he said, ‘No written complaint has been received from the public; If there is a complaint, we will definitely take action’, said the minister.

According to this, the Aavin officials also left indifferent without taking any action. However, Bajji, Bonda, Vada, Biscuits, Variety Rice, Tea, Coffee are sold in Aavin’s stalls. Products such as milk and curd are not available. Banned tobacco products are also sold in some of the shops. When the municipal planning department conducted a field inspection, it was found that the operators of Aavin palaks were violating the rules.

The palagam at Arts College Road was closed and ‘sealed’. Items including the palakars in the corporation commercial complex were confiscated. In this matter, the management of Aain is silent without taking any action. Therefore, a letter has been written from the Corporation to the General Manager of Aain.

It has been said in the letter that: In Coimbatore Central Zone, there are 32 sub-divisions. Among these, there have been complaints of violating the conditions and selling unauthorized products like soft drinks, fritters, bhonda etc. It is their department to monitor and take action against the sale of unauthorized goods. Strict action will be taken against those who are selling unauthorized products, cancel the license and remove the posters, it said.

Along with this, they have attached a list containing the details of where the Aavin Palagams are being held in the areas under the Central Zone of the Corporation, a photo of selling snacks and a copy of the news published in our newspaper.
