Mudukulathur
An awareness chess competition was held between Government Middle Schools, High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools in Mudugulathur Union at Government Higher Secondary School, Mudugulathur, Ramanathapuram District.
Police DSP Chinnakannu presided and inaugurated it. Principal Chandanavel, Training D.S.P. Arlias Reboni led the way.
Arogya Das, Headmaster of Tuluthur Government High School welcomed in which 56 male and 48 female students from 22 schools participated. In the 6th and 8th class category, the first prize was won by Kakkur Selvapandi, the 2nd prize by Tulkulathur Vetrivel and the 3rd prize by Mudukulathur Vishwa.
Ulaiyur Jeni Sri, 2nd prize Kakkur Malini and 3rd prize Tuluthur Sangeeta won in the female category. Alankanur Muthukumar, 2nd place Kiranur Arunkumar and 3rd place Kiranur Danil got first place in class 9-10 category.
10th – 12th class students category first prize Keezathuval Eshilventhan, 2nd prize Alankanur Harish Diwakar, 3rd prize Alankanur Sriram, 11th – 12th category first prize Keezathuval Niveda, 2nd prize Muthukulathur Sivabharathi, 3rd prize Alankanur Angalaiswari, 9th-10th class girls category got first prize Keezathuval Mahalakshmi, 2nd prize Kakur Bhavana and 3rd prize Muthuppriya.
5 physical education teachers participated in the chess game. All arrangements were made by Physical Education teacher Balasundaram.
