At present, revenue and panchayat boundaries are demarcated and crop loans are given only to the farmers of the area.

Similarly, farmers in Kurichikkottai, Venkitapuram and other villages are also denied crop loans in nearby Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Unions. At present, while the work for agricultural cultivation has intensified, thousands of farmers have been affected by not getting crop loans. Action should be taken in this regard and steps should be taken to provide crop loans as per the old practice.
