Volleyball – Carrom Tournament for Electricity Employees

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Power Board and Coimbatore District Power Board jointly organize regional level sports competitions for power board employees in various parts of Coimbatore. Chess, carrom and tabis tennis competitions were also held yesterday at the central office of the Electricity Board. More than 100 people from 4 districts namely Kadamparai, Kunta, Udumalai and Coimbatore participated. Regional sports in-charge Ravichandran and regional in-charge Mohammad Nasar inaugurated the competitions. First, competitions were held between regional teams. The selected players will be eligible to participate in the state level tournament.
