Sharjah: Al Deid Dates Festival has started. More than 50 types of dates were displayed in the fair. Hybrid dates are the center of attention at the fair. All the date farmers of the country had come to participate in the fair.

The date festival will run until July 24 at Expo Al Deid. This will give you an opportunity to see and taste different types of dates. Prizes of two crore rupees will be awarded in the competitions held on the occasion of date festival. The prize money ranges from 20,000 to 5 lakh rupees.
This amount will be awarded to 145 prize winners in six preliminary competitions. In connection with this, an exhibition of traditional art forms and handicrafts production exhibition will be staged.
