‘Simon Daniel’ is a film starring Vineeth Kumar. The film is directed by Sajan Antony. Written by Rakesh Kuryakos. Mammootty has released the trailer of the film which will be released in theaters on August 19 (Simon Daniel trailer).

‘Abhimanam’, Dhanush congratulates Suriya and GV Prakash Kumar
Actor Dhanush congratulates the winners of the 68th National Film Awards. Dhanush also said that he especially congratulated Suriya who was selected as the best actor and GV Prakash Kumar who received the award for background score. Surya and GV Prakash Kumar were selected for the award through the movie Soorai Potr. Dhanush wrote on Twitter that it is a great day for Tamil cinema and proud.
The awards for the films of 2020 have now been announced. ‘Surarai Potru’ won the award for the best feature film. Along with Suriya, Ajay Devgan also became the best actor. Aparna Balamurali won Best Actress for her performance in ‘Soorarai Potri’. Nanjiamma became a great playback singer with ‘Ayyappanum Koshi’.
The jury headed by Vipul Shah decided the winners. ‘Ayyappan and Koshi’ received a total of four awards. Apart from the best playback singer Nanjiamma, Sachi was selected for the best director, Biju Menon for the best supporting actor and Mafia Sasi for the best action director for the film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Sreekar Prasad was selected as the best editor.
The best Malayalam movie is ‘Tingalarcha Nixham’. The film is directed by Senna Hegde. The Malayalam film ‘Vanki’ also received a special mention at the National Film Awards. Kavya Prakash is the director.
Nikhil S Praveen also received an award in the non-fiction category for his cinematography of ‘Shabdinunna Kalappa’. ‘MT: A Book of Experiences’ by Anoop Ramakrishnan was selected as the best book. Best Educational Film ‘Dreaming of Words’ (Nandan). Excellent description by Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan. Vishnu Govind Sreesankar and received the award for Sound Mixing (Malik). ‘Surarai Potri’ won the best screenplay award. Screenwriters were Shalini Usha Nair and Sudha Konkara.
